San Diego, CA (April 28, 2020) - Officials from the San Diego Police Department responded to the scene of a crash on Saturday night, April 25th. At the 6700 block of Friars Road, a vehicle reportedly rear-ended another car at around 9 p.m. Two people suffered injuries in the crash. 

The severity of the resulting injuries hasn’t been provided by local sources. The driver who rear-ended the other vehicle was cited for following too closely. No further updates have been provided at this time. 

Local authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
