Vista, CA (April 9, 2020) - A 59-year-old man was critically injured after being injured in a pedestrian accident in Vista, California. The accident occurred on Wednesday night, April 9th, at the corner of Civic Center Drive and South Santa Fe Avenue. At around 8:41 p.m., authorities were notified that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle. 

The victim was hit by a westbound vehicle traveling on Civic Center Drive. The injured party was transported to Palomar Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. The 31-year-old driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. 

The investigation into the crash is currently ongoing.
