Cardiff, CA – UPDATE: Felicitas Navarro Killed in I-5 Crash
Cardiff, CA (March 20, 2020) – A crash that took place early Saturday morning, March 14th, in Cardiff claimed the life of a Los Angeles woman. The accident occurred on I-5 near Manchester Avenue at around 2:30 a.m. Felicitas Navarro, 57, was killed in the collision.
Six others reportedly suffered major injuries following the collision. Navarro was a passenger in a vehicle that had crashed into the median on the roadway, and another vehicle stopped to help. While both vehicles were on the side of the highway, a speeding Chevy Tahoe crashed into both cars.
Navarro was found unresponsive at the scene and later pronounced dead. Multiple occupants of the three vehicles were injured, and the driver of the Tahoe was arrested following the collision. Local authorities are currently investigating the crash.
