Chula Vista, CA – 1 Injured after Vehicle Crashes into San Diego Bay
Chula Vista, CA (January 28, 2020) – The driver was taken into custody after their vehicle crashed into the San Diego Bay earlier today on Tuesday, January 28th, in Chula Vista, California. Before the incident, the vehicle was reportedly involved in another collision near the intersection of Sandpiper Way and Marina Parkway at around 9 a.m. Two occupants were able to escape the vehicle before authorities arrived.
One of the passengers was taken to a nearby medical facility for treatment. The other was given a sobriety test and arrested at the scene. No updates have been provided at this time.
An investigation into the crash is being handled by the Harbor Police Department.
