Encinitas, CA – Pileup Crash Reported at I-5 & Encinitas Blvd

Encinitas, CA (March 5, 2020) – A crash involving multiple vehicles occurred earlier today in Encinitas, California. The crash was reported on Thursday, March 5th, at around 12:51 p.m. The site of the accident was located near the intersection of I-5 SB and Encinitas Boulevard.

At least three vehicles were involved in the collision. The severity of the resulting injuries and the cause of the crash haven’t been reported at this time. According to local sources, the left two lanes of I-5 SB were blocked due to responding emergency units. 

An ongoing investigation into the crash is currently underway.
