Escondido, CA – 1 Killed, 3 Injured in Harmony Grove Rd Rollover
Escondido, CA (January 31, 2020) – On Friday morning, January 31st, a three-vehicle collision near Escondido, California left a 28-year-old man dead and left three others injured. Local sources reported that the crash occurred at around 7:40 a.m. According to authorities, the driver of a Subaru WRX traveling on Harmony Grove Road veered into the eastbound lanes near Wild Willow Hollow Road.
The Subaru sideswiped a Toyota Prius before colliding head-on with a Toyota Highlander, causing it to overturn. The Carlsbad man, 38, driving the Highlander was injured, along with his three passengers who were all from San Marcos. The driver of the Subaru, a Chula Vista resident, was killed in the crash.
No other injuries were reported. An ongoing investigation into the accident is currently in progress.
