Deadly Bicycle Crashes in California
In 2015, 467,000 people were injured in bicycle crashes in the United States. 2 percent of traffic fatalities the following year involved cyclists. 857 cyclists were killed in just 2018 nationwide.
Cyclists are some of the most vulnerable on the roads of California. With little to protect them from the full impact of a crash, bicycle riders often suffer fatal injuries. In some cases, surviving family members can recover lost compensation with the help of a California personal injury lawyer.
