Bicycle Accidents in California
Cyclists are at risk of suffering life-threatening injuries in the event of the crash. In California, bicycle fatalities make up 4 percent of roadway fatalities each year. That’s twice as high as the national average of 2 percent.
Bicycles offer little protection to their riders, which means riders are at risk of being seriously injured. When a cyclist is hit by an inattentive driver, they can potentially seek legal compensation for their damages. Injured parties and their families can consult with a qualified California personal injury lawyer to discuss possible compensation.
