Lakeside, CA – 1 Killed in Head-On Collision on CA-67

Lakeside, CA (March 23, 2020) – Early Monday morning, March 23rd, one person was killed in a head-on collision in Lakeside, California. The crash occurred on CA-67 near the San Vicente Reservoir. The accident reportedly involved two vehicles near the intersection of CA-67 and Foster Truck Trail in north Lakeside. 

One person was reportedly ejected from a vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. The area was shut down as emergency responders were at the scene conducting a preliminary investigation. The identity of the deceased party hasn’t been revealed at this time. 

An ongoing investigation into the accident is being handled by local authorities.
