Lemon Grove, CA – Victim Pinned Between 2 Cars at College Grove Dr
Lemon Grove, CA (February 11, 2020) – A man was taken into custody on Saturday, February 9th, after he allegedly crashed a stolen vehicle into some parked cars, including a sheriff’s vehicle, and hitting an innocent bystander. The accident occurred in Lemon Grove, California at the Grove Shopping Center on College Grove Drive. As officers approached the stolen vehicle, the man backed into Mercedes before accelerating and striking a sheriff’s vehicle.
A bystander was pinned between one of the vehicles struck during the accident. The injured victim was treated by responding paramedics at the scene and later transported to a nearby hospital. The 34-year-old driver was chased and captured by authorities, but then the man reportedly had a seizure and was taken to a medical facility.
No other details on the crash are available at this time.
