National City, CA – Multi-Vehicle Collision at I-5 & Mile of Cars Way
National City, CA (February 28, 2020) – Early Thursday morning, February 27th, a multi-vehicle collision was reported in National City. Local sources reported that the collision occurred near the intersection of I-5 SB and Mile of Cars Way. Local authorities responded to the scene of the accident at around 1:48 a.m.
The extent of the collision resulted in all but two lanes on I-5 SB closing. At this time, the severity of the resulting injuries isn’t known. Paramedics responded to the scene to render aid to those injured in the crash.
An investigation into the cause of the accident is being conducted by local authorities.
