National City, CA – Pedestrian Struck by Jeep at E 8th St & K Ave
National City, CA (February 23, 2020) – On Sunday afternoon, February 23rd, a pedestrian was struck by a Jeep in National City, California. The accident occurred at the corner of East 8th Street and K Avenue at around 1:45 p.m. Local authorities arrived at the scene to render aid to the injured victim.
The pedestrian was reportedly crossing in a designated crosswalk when he was hit by a woman driving a black Jeep. The pedestrian was transported to a hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. The woman driving the Jeep was arrested by authorities after the crash.
An ongoing investigation into the collision is currently in progress.
