Oceanside, CA – Train Collides with Vehicle at Myers & Cassidy StSan Diego Legal News
Oceanside, CA (April 3, 2020) – On Thursday, April 2nd, officials in Oceanside, California responded to an accident involving a train and a motor vehicle. The accident occurred near the Carlsbad Village and Oceanside transit centers at Myers Street and Cassidy Street. The collision took place sometime before 5 p.m.
According to reports from the North County Transit District, the accident involved a southbound Amtrak train. At this time, the severity and number of resulting injuries haven’t been reported. Passengers onboard were bussed to another train following the impact.
An ongoing investigation into the crash is currently in progress.
