San Clemente, CA (March 16, 2020) – There were lane closures following a car accident in the area of San Clemente, California. The crash occurred at around 4:57 a.m. on Monday, March 16th near the intersection of I-5 SB and Basilone Road.
All lanes on I-5 SB were blocked following the collision. At this time, the severity and cause of the accident are currently unknown. Paramedics responded to the scene to render aid to those injured in the accident.
An ongoing investigation into the accident is being handled by local law enforcement.
