San Diego, CA – 1 Dead After Hit-&-Run at Otay Mesa & Cactus Rd

San Diego, CA (March 5, 2020) – Early Thursday morning, March 5th, a pedestrian was killed in the Otay Mesa area of San Diego. The collision took place at the corner of Otay Mesa and Cactus Roads near the time of 9:15 a.m., south of Brown Field Municipal Airport. Officials from the San Diego Police Department responded to the scene.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by responding officials. The driver of the vehicle did not remain at the scene. The circumstances of the crash aren’t known at this time.

The identity of the deceased victim hasn’t been disclosed. An ongoing investigation into the crash is currently in progress.
