San Diego, CA – 2 Injured in Target Parking Lot
San Diego, CA (January 28, 2020) – A driver exited at a high rate of speed, colliding with a sign at a Mission Valley mall in San Diego, California on Tuesday, January 28th. The crash occurred in a parking lot near a Target located at the intersection of Mission Center Road and Camino del Rio. Authorities were notified of the crash at around 2:45 a.m.
According to initial reports, a Mercedez-Benz took the I-8 WB exit ramp too quickly, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle. A passenger was ejected from the car, while the driver was trapped inside the vehicle. Both were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
The identities of the victims haven’t been released at this time. An ongoing investigation into the crash is currently in progress.
