San Diego, CA – 2 Motorcyclists Injured In Crash on University Ave
San Diego, CA (February 8, 2020) – Two men on motorcycles were reportedly injured on Friday afternoon, February 7th, following an accident in San Diego. The accident occurred at around 3:25 p.m. at the corner of University Avenue and 7th Avenue. The two motorcyclists were injured after a 2011 Volkswagen Jetta driven by a 27-year-old man made a left turn onto University Avenue, into the path fo the motorcyclists.
The two injured parties were a 55-year-old man riding a 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle and a 45-year-old man riding a 1970 Norton motorcycle, who were both traveling eastbound on University Avenue at the time of the crash. Both riders were ejected after colliding with the Volkswagen. One rider reportedly suffered severe fractures and other serious injuries.
An ongoing investigation into the crash is currently in progress.
