San Diego, CA – 3 Killed After Vehicle Leaves Road on Camino Santa Fe

San Diego, CA (March 14, 2020) – Three young adults were killed following a single-vehicle collision in San Diego on Saturday morning, March 14th. According to officials from the San Diego Police Department, the collision occurred at the 9900 block of Camino Santa Fe at around 9:45 p.m. Initial reports revealed that an 18-year-old woman was driving a Chevy pickup south on the roadway when she lost control of the vehicle. 

The pickup was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed when it began to spin and then collided with a tree. Three passengers in the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver survived but suffered third and fourth-degree burns. 

The identities of those involved in the accident haven’t been reported. An ongoing investigation into the crash is currently in progress.
