High-Speed Crashes in California

San Diego, CA - Collision on I-5 North of Coronado Bay BridgeWhen drivers speed, statistics show that they’re more likely to be involved in a crash. Speeding is responsible for over a quarter of deadly crashes reported each year nationwide. Despite the dangers of speeding, a majority of drivers claim they are perfectly comfortable with exceeding the speed limit.

In 2017, 925 people were killed by speeding drivers in California. Hundreds of thousands more were seriously injured in car accidents that year. Injured parties should consult with a qualified San Diego personal injury attorney to pursue lost compensation.
