San Diego, CA – Fatal Pedestrian Crash on I-8 at Hotel Cir
San Diego, CA (March 23, 2020) – Late on Sunday night, March 22nd, a pedestrian was struck and killed on a highway in San Diego. The accident took place at around 8:15 p.m. on I-8 WB near Hotel Circle. When officials arrived, they found the victim’s body lying on the roadway near the center divider.
The identity of the deceased party hasn’t been released at this time. The driver who struck the pedestrian remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Two lanes were blocked on the highway as emergency responders were at the scene.
An ongoing investigation into the crash is being handled by the California Highway Patrol.
