Hit-&-Run Accidents in California
There were 337 deadly hit-and-run crashes reported in California in 2016. That’s the highest figure recorded in the state, marking a 60% increase from 2009. A majority of hit-and-run crashes involve pedestrians and cyclists who are at increased risk of serious injury.
Pedestrians are at a serious disadvantage when involved in a crash with a motor vehicle. Unlike those traveling in passenger cars, pedestrians have little protecting them from the full impact of an accident. A California pedestrian injury lawyer can help recover financial compensation for your injuries.
