San Diego, CA – Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash on I-805
San Diego, CA (April 16, 2020) – A 66-year-old man from Chula Vista, California was killed following a motorcycle accident late Wednesday night, April 15th. The crash occurred in the Otay Mesa neighborhood on I-805 SB, near CA-905. Authorities from the California Highway Patrol reported that the man had been thrown off his Vectrix scooter after colliding with a Nissan.
The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene by responding authorities. The 22-year-old man driving the Nissan remained at the scene and showed no signs of intoxication. The cause of the crash isn’t currently known.
An ongoing investigation into the accident is currently underway.
