Pedestrian Accidents in California
In 2018, a reported 14,000 pedestrians were injured in California. That same year, 893 pedestrians were killed in vehicle collisions, a 26% increase from 2014. Pedestrians are over-represented in state roadway fatalities each year.
Pedestrians are at a serious disadvantage when involved in a crash with a motor vehicle. Unlike those traveling in passenger cars, pedestrians have little protecting them from the full impact of an accident. A California pedestrian injury lawyer can help recover financial compensation for your injuries.
