San Diego, CA (March 30, 2020) – A pedestrian was hit by a car while crossing at an intersection in San Diego on Sunday, March 29th. The collision took place at the corner of El Cajon Boulevard and Iowa Street at around 5 p.m. Authorities responded to the scene to render aid to the injured party.
The 45-year-old man was traveling in a crosswalk when he was hit by a Honda Civic. The Civic was reportedly traveling west on El Cajon Boulevard. The injured pedestrian was transported to a hospital for the treatment of a broken ankle.
No other information has been reported at this time. Local officials are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
