San Diego, CA – Woman Hit at Intersection near Mira Mesa Mall
San Diego, CA (March 9, 2020) – Another pedestrian was injured following a collision in the Mira Mesa area of San Diego on Sunday night, March 8th. The site of the crash was reportedly located at the corner of Mira Mesa Boulevard and Reagan Road near the Mira Mesa Mall. Officials were notified of the accident at around 9:30 p.m.
According to initial reports, a 19-year-old woman was crossing at the intersection when she was struck by a 2015 Honda Accord. The injured victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of a right femur fracture. The 33-year-old driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
Alcohol is not believed to have played a role in the crash. Local authorities are currently investigating the accident.
