San Diego, CA – Woman, Teen Girl Struck by Car on Collwood Blvd

San Diego, CA (March 17, 2020) – A 67-year-old woman and a 16-year-old girl were both injured while crossing at an intersection in San Diego on Monday, March 16th. The two victims were crossing at the intersection of Collwood Boulevard and 54th Street when they were struck at around 8:05 p.m. Initial reports revealed that the pair were struck by a northbound 2003 Subaru Baja driven by an 81-year-old woman. 

Both injured parties were transported to nearby medical facilities for treatment. The older woman reportedly suffered fractures to her leg arm and leg. No updates on the conditions of the injured victims have been provided at this time.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. An investigation into the crash is currently in progress.
