California Wrong-Way Accidents
Wrong-way crashes take place when drivers travel down the road in the wrong direction. In most cases, these drivers are intoxicated or just unfamiliar with the area. These drivers also risk causing head-on collisions that can cause severe to life-threatening injuries.
Annually, around 355 people across the country are killed in wrong-way crashes. These crashes result in head-on collisions, which account for 10 percent of fatal accidents each year. Injured parties may be able to recover lost compensation by partnering with a California car crash attorney.
