San Marcos, CA – 2 Injured in DUI Crash at San Marcos High School

San Marcos, CA (February 14, 2020) – Two people were injured after a vehicle crashed into a gate in San Marcos on Friday, February 14th. The accident occurred near San Marcos High School at the intersection of Rancho Santa Fe Drive and West San Marcos Boulevard at around 2 a.m. Authorities believe that alcohol was a factor in the crash. 

Initial reports revealed that the vehicle crashed through an iron fence, colliding with two electrical boxes. Both the driver and the passenger were trapped inside the car. Both parties were transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment. 

Local authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident at this time.
