San Marcos, CA – Landscaper Seriously Injured at Palomar College
San Marcos, CA (January 27, 2020) – On Monday, January 27th, a landscaper was seriously injured at Palomar College in San Marcos, California. The victim, identified as Pimienta Rodriguez Celso, 43, was in the process of unloading landscaping equipment on West Borden Road when he was struck by a 16-year-old driver. Officials from the San Diego County Sheriff’s revealed that the collision occurred at around 7:15 a.m.
Celso was transported to a nearby medical facility for the treatment of sustained injuries. Local sources reported that the victim suffered from a broken neck, a fractured rib, a scalp laceration, and other trauma. Intoxication is not believed to have been a factor in the accident.
No other updates have been provided. An investigation into the crash is currently underway.
