San Ysidro, CA – 2 Injured in Single-Vehicle Crash on E Beyer Blvd
San Ysidro, CA (February 23, 2020) – A speeding driver and their passenger were injured after a crash in San Ysidro, California on Saturday night, February 22nd. The accident occurred on East Beyer Boulevard at around 7:10 p.m. Initial reports revealed that the 21-year-old driver of a Ford Mustang was speeding when they went through a puddle, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
The driver lost complete control of the car, causing it to swerve and leave the roadway, coming to a rest after falling into a parking lot 20 feet below. The driver reportedly suffered a fractured spine. The 23-year-old male passenger was transported to a hospital.
Local authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
