Vista, CA – Boy Airlifted to Hospital After Hit-&-Run on Mar Vista Dr
Vista, CA (February 25, 2020) – A Tuesday night hit-and-run in Vista, California on February 25th resulted in a young boy being airlifted to a hospital. The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department reported that the crash occurred at the 1000 block of Mar Vista Drive at around 5 p.m. Initial reports stated that a white sedan struck the 12-year-old before fleeing the scene.
According to local sources, the boy may have been hit by another vehicle. That driver remained at the scene after the accident. The injured victim was taken to Rady Children’s Hospital with injuries to his legs and cuts on his face.
The vehicle that initially hit the boy is believed to have possible damage to the right mirror and the front-end. Local authorities are currently investigating the accident.
