Pedestrian Accidents in California
When a pedestrian is struck by a motor vehicle, they suffer from the full impact of the accident. Pedestrians in California are particularly at risk when you consider that the state’s pedestrian fatality rate is 25 percent higher than the national average. In 2018, 689 pedestrians in the state lost their lives in car crashes.
The injuries suffered in a pedestrian crash are often severe. Sadly, many people are killed in these crashes each year. Injured pedestrians should consult with a qualified California pedestrian injury lawyer to pursue their deserved compensation.
