San Diego, CA - Driver Runs Stop Sign, Causes Crash on 4th Ave

San Diego, CA (April 30, 2020) - A crash took place at a stop-sign controlled intersection early on Tuesday, April 28th, in San Diego. The site of the accident was located at the 1700 block of 4th Avenue. For unknown reasons, the crash took place at around 11:20 a.m. and resulted in one driver at the scene being ticketed. 

Few details on the accident have been made public at this time. One driver reportedly ran into another car after failing to stop at a stop sign. At least one person was injured in the accident. 

No further details on the crash are known at this time. An investigation into the cause of the accident is being handled by the San Diego Police Department.
