Chula Vista, CA – Passenger Injured in Crash at H St & 3rd Ave
Chula Vista, CA (April 21, 2020) – Two people were left injured following a single-vehicle collision in Chula Vista, California on Tuesday morning, April 21st. The collision occurred at the intersection of H Street and 3rd Avenue at around 7:45 a.m. The woman driving the vehicle was speeding down H Street when she lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a utility pole.
A 19-year-old male passenger was seriously injured in the crash. The 25-year-old driver was also injured, and both parties were hospitalized following the accident. The driver was evaluated at the scene for intoxication, but alcohol isn’t believed to have been a factor in the crash.
An ongoing investigation into the crash is currently in progress.
