Oceanside, CA – Pedestrian Injured at Roymar Rd & Mission Ave
Oceanside, CA (February 18, 2020) – A pedestrian suffered serious head injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Oceanside, California on Monday, February 17th. The accident happened at the intersection of Roymar Road and Mission Avenue that evening at around 10 p.m. According to local sources, a 29-year-old man was struck while crossing south on Mission Avenue.
The pedestrian reportedly suffered head injuries and was transported to Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, California for treatment. The 36-year-old woman who hit the pedestrian returned to the scene and cooperated with authorities. Drugs nor alcohol are not believed to have been factors in the crash.
An ongoing investigation into the crash is being handled by local authorities.
