San Diego, CA – Injury Crash Involving Semi-Truck on CA-163
San Diego, CA (February 7, 2020) – Early Thursday morning, February 6th, near Kearny Mesa, a pickup truck reportedly collided with the rear of a semi-truck. The accident happened on CA-163, just north of CA-52, before 5 a.m. The pickup truck struck a semi-truck hauling a mobile home that had parked on the right shoulder of CA-163.
The smaller truck was left lying on its side after the accident, badly damaged. The pickup also struck a third vehicle, a gray sedan, but it’s unknown if it was struck before or after the semi-truck. Both drivers were reportedly injured in the crash.
An investigation into the accident is currently underway. More details will be released as it continues.
