San Diego, CA – Man Killed, Children Injured on Carmel Valley Rd
San Diego, CA (April 11, 2020) – A San Diego crash left one man dead and his two children injured on early Friday, April 10th. The car accident occurred at around 8 p.m. at the 12000 block of Carmel Valley Road near Del Mar Heights Road.
A man suffered severe head trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene. A 17-year-old also suffered serious head injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital along with a 15-year-old girl. At this time, it’s unknown if seatbelts were properly used.
Authorities believed the crash was caused by a combination of unsafe speeds. An ongoing investigation into the crash is currently in progress.
We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased victim at this time. Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families in hopes of a full recovery.
