Valley Center, CA – 1 Killed in Wrong-Way Crash at Waaash Rd

Valley Center, CA (March 3, 2020) – One person was killed late Tuesday night, March 3rd, near Valley Center, California. Reports from the California Highway Patrol reported that the two-vehicle collision, involving a Chevrolet Tahoe, happened just before 7 p.m. at the intersection of Valley Center and Waaash Roads. The occupants of the Tahoe told CHP that another vehicle was traveling the wrong direction at the time of the crash. 

One person inside the wrong-way vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. Emergency responders arrived at the scene to extricate one person at the scene from their vehicle. No one in the Tahoe was injured in the accident. 

An ongoing investigation into the crash is currently in progress.
